The General Labor position is responsible for all phases of operation in their assigned bagging room.
This position allows for cross-training and growth opportunities to further your career with Kraft Heinz.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Must learn the safe and proper operation of area equipment.
Perform set-up- start-up and changeover procedures for the equipment as needed.
Assist in troubleshooting issues with line performance as it relates to equipment operation.
Maintain downtime records during line operation.
Able to record- read- and accurately interpret weights; ensure compliance to the declared label weight.
Responsible for conducting and documenting quality checks.
Responsible for monitoring and communicating any process or product abnormalities to your Facilitator- Supervisor or Manager.
Perform sanitation duties for production equipment as needed and period sanitation work as assigned.
Proper handling and usage of chemicals.
Maintain knowledge of CIP system and piping.
Must comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
Perform all required observations and training timely and as scheduled.
May be assigned to different areas and/or shifts as production requires.
Responsible to follow FSQ requirements such as GMP’s and other daily/job specific duties to support QRMP.
Must demonstrate leadership skills and behavior to work effectively in a team.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the manager- supervisor- or facilitator.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic math skills.
Candidates must be available to work all 3 shifts.
Able to routinely lift 55 lbs.
