Assistant, Inventory Coordinator

Our Inventory Coordinator team within Materials and Procurement keeps track of the size of our inventory and ensures its security – so we have what we need to innovate when we need it.

We conduct physical inventories and cycle counts, analyze count discrepancies, audit incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and accuracy and document all transactions.

Job Family Summary

Ensures security and accountability of inventory through transactional documentation and system review.

Helps conduct physical inventories and cycle counts.

Analyzes and, when able, corrects cycle count discrepancies.

Audits incoming and outgoing shipments to assure quality and accuracy.

Compiles and documents all transactions for data entry.

Performs basic inventory adjustments.

Principal Responsibilities

Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques

Provides resolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope, uses judgment within defined practices and procedures.

Work is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy

Contributes to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives

Cycle Counting - Knows the cycle count process and how it benefits the business

Root Cause Analysis - Understands how to perform root cause on cycle count variances, has the ability to implement corrective actions based on root cause analysis
